Types of Classes and Tutoring

Yes, Bilingual Bridges classes are always tailored to meet each student’s exactly where they are. When designing lessons, we take various factors into consideration, including: language proficiency level(s), academic proficiency, learning styles, personal interests, and learning goals. 

Yes, we strive to provide learning continuity and strong student-teacher rapport by consistently assigning students to work with the same teachers long-term. 

We know you have a busy schedule, and we believe flexibility is key to making tutoring possible. Our teachers are available around the clock on weekdays and weekends. 

Each class session typically lasts from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on each student’s needs and availability.

The majority of our classes are in 1-on-1 formats. We can accommodate small group classes up to 4 students for high-impact tutoring, or 8 students for classic small group learning.

Families

Depending on the subject, Bilingual Bridges follows evidenced-based curricula that is aligned with Common Core State Standards (CCSS), WIDA, ACTFL, Science of Reading, and/or Eureka Math.

For families, our classes are priced depending on the length of each class, starting at $30 (30-minutes). Discounted rates are available for siblings. To learn more, click here.

Yes, of course! In fact, many of our teachers are available to teach across multiple subject areas as well.

Our high-impact tutoring model is customizable to align with your curriculum, academic standards, scheduling requirements, and goals. Our in-house Curriculum & Instruction and Operations Teams will work hands-on with your administrators, academic coaches, and classroom teachers to craft the perfect solution for your students.

Bilingual Bridges provides comprehensive support for diverse student populations, including Special Education, Gifted and Talented, and Multilingual Learners. Moreover, our programs are designed to cater to the varied learning needs of all students in more than 15 languages, ensuring no student is left behind.

Our Curriculum & Instruction Team collects and analyzes data from benchmark and ongoing assessments, as well as from data shared by schools. We leverage this data to identify strengths and areas of improvement for each student, and develop personalized learning plans. Through ongoing progress monitoring assessments, we maintain a consistent pulse on student progress – making adjustments whenever needed,

Academic growth is measured using in-house assessments. Furthermore, we provide detailed quantitative reports highlighting improvements and areas needing further attention.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree, valid teaching certification, and at least 3 years of experience teaching the language or subject area they wish to teach. Expertise in bilingual or language education, online teaching experience, and K-12 schools is required.

We’re looking for individuals with flexible availability and the ability to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week.

If you are selected to move forward after submitting your CV, you will complete a one-way interview, personality test, demo lesson, and live interview via Zoom. We accept applications on a rolling basis.
