Types of Online Tutoring Programs

Yes, Bilingual Bridges classes are always personalized to meet each student exactly where they are. Our bilingual teachers design every session based on language proficiency, academic level, learning style, personal interests, and individual goals. All classes are taught online, whether through 1:1 tutoring for families or high-impact virtual support for schools. In both settings, instruction is tailored to help students make meaningful progress.

We understand busy schedules, and flexibility is key to effective online tutoring. Our bilingual tutors are available around the clock on weekdays and weekends to meet your needs.

Each online tutoring session typically lasts between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and scheduling availability.
Most of our bilingual tutoring sessions are offered in a 1-on-1 format. For high impact tutoring, we can accommodate small groups of up to 4 students, and up to 8 students for classic small group learning.

Depending on the subject, Bilingual Bridges follows evidence-based curricula aligned with Common Core State Standards (CCSS), WIDA, ACTFL, the Science of Reading, and Eureka Math. Our bilingual teachers adapt lessons to fit each learner’s needs across subjects and languages.

Our Curriculum & Instruction Team uses benchmark assessments, school-provided data, and ongoing progress monitoring to guide high-impact tutoring. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree, valid teaching certification, and have at least 3 years of experience teaching the relevant language or subject. Experience in bilingual education, online tutoring, and working in K–12 schools is required to become a bilingual tutor with Bilingual Bridges.
We seek bilingual tutors with flexible availability who can commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week. Consistency is key to supporting student success.
If selected after submitting your CV, you will complete a one-way interview, personality assessment, demo lesson, and a live Zoom interview. We accept bilingual tutor applications on a rolling basis, so there are no set deadlines.
