What Is The Florida Step Up For Students Program?
Florida Step Up For Students administers state-funded scholarships that put education funding directly in families’ hands. Three of these scholarships can be used for private bilingual tutoring with Bilingual Bridges: the FES Unique Abilities Scholarship, the FES Private Schools Scholarship, and the Personal Education Pathway (PEP).
Bilingual Bridges is an approved Step Up For Students service partner. Once your scholarship account is funded, you can apply it directly to tutoring sessions with our certified bilingual teachers in Reading, Math, World Languages, and ESL. No school district approval is required. We handle the partner-side enrollment, and your child gets expert one-on-one instruction from a certified teacher. You can apply through Step Up For Students and then come straight to us to set up tutoring.

My child already attends a private school in Florida. Can we still get tutoring through Step Up?
Yes. The FES Educational Options scholarship is available to Florida students regardless of whether they attend public school, private school, or are homeschooled. Private school families can use FES funds for approved expenses including private tutoring on top of their existing schooling arrangements.
Do I need to speak English to work with Bilingual Bridges?
Not at all. We communicate with families in the language that works best for them, including Spanish, Arabic, French, and more. You will never feel like an outsider asking for help here. That is the whole point of who we are.
