What is the Indiana Learns program?
Indiana Learns is a statewide microgrant program dedicated to bringing high-quality support to students to positively impact the math and English/language arts growth of qualifying students. Funded by the state of Indiana, the program is operated by The Mind Trust on behalf of the Indiana Department of Education. Learn more at IndianaLearns.org.
Since October 2022, Indiana Learns has enrolled more than 25,000 students, funded over 280,000 hours of tutoring, and maintained an attendance rate of over 80 percent. Program data shows that students who engaged more frequently in tutoring had greater academic gains, and an external study comparing participating students to non-participants found statistically significant results in ELA and math proficiency.
